Focus Video is a very convenient and user-friendly video compression and format conversion tool, supporting common audio and video formats such as MP4, MOV, WMV, MKV, AVI, WEBM, MPG, 3GP, FLV, TS, FLAC, APE, and Mp3.

Using the ”Format Converter” of Focus Video, you can quickly batch convert video or audio files to the desired formats.

You can follow the steps bellow to convert an MKV file to MP4:

  1. Select the video files you want to convert, and click the dropdown menu of Target preset, select the preset of MP4.

  1. Click the dropdown menu of subtitles and select the subtitle track you want to keep or load a subtitle file which you downloaded from somewhere. Note: The subtitle would be embedded as track, not burn into the video. Subtitle-All means to keep all the subtitle tracks, and Subtitle-none means to remove all the subtitle tracks from the video.

  1. Click the dropdown menu of audios and select the audio track you want to keep or load a audio file which you want to replace the origin audio track. Audio-All means to keep all the audio tracks, and Audio-none means to remove all the audio tracks from the video.

  1. Click the Change options button to change the encoding options if you want. Check the checkbox in front of each options to enable and adjust the settings. Currently, you can adjust video encoder, output resolution, frame rate, bitrate, audio encoder, bitrate, sampling rate, and other encoding parameters. If you need to trim the video duration, you can also check the options of trim start and trim end to adjust the start and end times.

  1. Once all the files have been imported, and options been settled, you can click the start button at bottom right to start all tasks.
