The "Video Compressor" of Focus Video offers four video compression modes: compressing by ratio, by file size, by video quality, and by video bitrate. The default mode is to compress by video quality.

If you need to compress a video file to a specific size, you can use the "by file size" or "by ratio" compression modes. For example, if you have a 500MB video that needs to be compressed to below 200MB.

You can follow these steps:

  1. Select the video files you want to compress, and click Change option button.

  1. Choose the "by file size" or "by ratio" compression mode in the dropdown menu of Mode.

  1. Change the target file size to 200MB, and click OK to save the settings.

  1. Once all the files have been imported, and options been settled, you can click the start button at bottom right to start all tasks.
